Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE)
Virtual Open House

The mission of the Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine’s Master of Health Professions Education program is to prepare healthcare professionals as teachers and leaders to help train the next generation of healthcare providers. By providing health professionals with essential skills to thrive as faculty and leaders in education in the country’s expanding health professions schools, the program will assist in improving care delivery to address the needs of rural and underserved populations in North Carolina, the Southeast, and the nation.

The MHPE degree program develops skills in six domains of competencies necessary for successful careers as clinical educators and leaders:
Education, Scholarship, Leadership, Healthcare Delivery Systems, Personal and Professional Management, and Multiculturalism and Interprofessional Teamwork.
Students of MHPE are health professionals interested in pursuing academic positions, clinicians interested in developing their leadership and teaching skills,  junior faculty (basic science and clinical) wanting to advance to leadership roles, and medical residents interested in academic careers.
Preceptors shape the future of healthcare.  Learn more about how Campbell can advance your teaching skills.
