Centering lived experience is one of the key themes of this year’s North Carolina Opioid Summit and is core to the work we do across the state to respond to the overdose crisis. To create a space for storytelling and sharing lived experience, the NC Division of Public Health’s Injury and Violence Prevention Branch, the Duke Opioid Collaboratory, and the Monti, a non-profit dedicated to the power of storytelling, will host a virtual event (using Zoom) that builds community through storytelling.
