Thanks to an unusual staggered spring recess, legislators are meeting today, Friday, as they hurry to push bills through committee and to the chamber floors before crossover deadline on May 9. One bill is particularly significant – HB611 -Amending Rules of Evidence – which would dismantle a key provision of our 2011 tort reform victory.
