Perennial cuts to Medicare physician payment threaten dermatologists’ ability to treat patients.

Physicians are at a breaking point – when adjusted for inflation physician reimbursement has declined 30% since 2001 while practice costs soared. Physicians rely on reimbursement to cover a multitude of practice expenses and year-over-year cuts to Medicare physician reimbursement jeopardize physicians’ ability to keep the doors open and to care for patients in our communities.

A day of meetings on Capitol Hill with other dermatologists from your state where you'll ask Congress to fix Medicare physician payment.

Support from the AADA’s grassroots staff, including pre-conference information to help you prepare. The AADA schedules all your Hill meetings – you just need to show up!

Resident Scholarship to Legislative Conference

The AADA awards several scholarships to residents who commit to year-long involvement in AADA grassroots advocacy. Following the Legislative Conference, AADA staff will follow up with award-winners to discuss a checklist of grassroots activities.
