Last week’s notice of a new Medicaid Health Plan proposal from the NC Medical Society has generated a lot of response. There have been quite a few questions received, some concerns voiced and also some uncertainty expressed. In response, the NCMS invites you to a webinar presentation to hear first-hand about the proposed plan and to address questions that have been received.

The webinar is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, January 18) at 6:00 pm. A copy of the notice, which includes the link to register, appears below.

In addition to providing information on the “why, how, who, and when” of the proposed plan, details about how physicians can be part of the ownership and governance of the plan will be addressed.

I hope this information is helpful.
