About PHP
The North Carolina Professionals Health Program (NCPHP) originated as a physicians’ health committee of the North Carolina Medical Society. Established as a formal program by the Medical Society in 1988 and administered by its Foundation, the program subsequently evolved into a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. NCPHP is the only organization in North Carolina for physicians, physician assistants, perfusionists, and anesthesia assistants offering confidential identification, intervention, and rehabilitation programs for substance use disorders or other potentially impairing conditions.
Obtain Financial Assistance
The NCPHP Treatment Scholarship Fund is available to qualified licensees or applicants of the North Carolina Medical Board (NCMB) to offset expenses associated with obtaining recommended services.
